15999 W CORRAL HOLLOW RD Project No.2019-00027 P a g e 11
Table 5.
Summary of Percolation Tests-July 19,2019
Test No., Percolation percolation Rate Test Comments
Date Tested Test (minutes/inch) Duration (see notes)
Depth(feet)
Site 300-Building T8021
P-1 (shallow) 3.10 4.39 1 hour Satisfactory
Note: A satisfactory percolation rate for a"shallow"test is less than or equal to 60 minutes per inch.
A satisfactory percolation rate for a"deep"test is less than or equal to 30 minutes per inch.
The soils within the percolation test area for the site have demonstrated a satisfactory percolation
rate in accordance with the requirements of the EHD for the use of a standard septic system.
7.0 CONCLUSIONS
In summary, percolation rates that meet the minimum EHD standards were achieved in the proposed
septic disposal areas for the subject site;these parcels appear suitable for the use of a standard septic
system.
No ground water was encountered in the boring drilled on the property. The nearest onsite water
well was tested for nitrate and DBCP. Nitrate as nitrogen, nitrate, and nitrite results (non-detected)
are below the MCL of 10 mg/L set by the United States EPA and CA State.DBCP was not detected in
the well tested.
8.0 LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are established from the information provided regarding the proposed
and existing development, the use of each parcel, and the site conditions as they existed at the time
we excavated our test hole and performed the percolation test. It was assumed that the test hole and
percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
If there is a substantial amount of time between the submission of this study and commencement of
work at the site, or if conditions have changed due to construction activities or natural causes at or
adjacent to the site, we recommend that our report be reviewed to access the applicability of the
recommendations and conclusions with consideration regarding changed conditions and or lapse of
time. This report should not be used after 3 years without a review and update from our office.
Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in
accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices. This warranty is in lieu of
all other warranties either expressed or implied. Test findings and statements of professional
opinion do not constitute a guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied.
Petralogix Engineering,Inc.
26675 Bruella Road,Galt,Ca 95632
(209)-400-5729
www.petralogix.com
