<br /> D. The onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) shall be designed to:receive.all domestic
<br /> sewage and wastewater from the property.. Only domestic sewage is allowed to discharge
<br /> intotheOWTS, No basement footing or surface drainage or discharge:from water softener,
<br /> iron fit ter, pool filters, or water treatment systems shall be permitted to enter any part of the
<br /> OWTS. (,San Joaquin County OWTS Standards 1.10.1)
<br /> a. 'Prohibited discharges into OWTS include: automobile and garage waste, -storm
<br /> drainage, solvents and toxics., solids,. garbage,-kitchen wastewater from restaurant or
<br /> bar,.air conditioners, hazardous wastes, backwash, truck terminal.wastes,.recreational
<br /> vehicle holding tank waste, industrial and manufacturibg waste,, andfood processing
<br /> wastes.. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110,7 and San Joaquin
<br /> County OWTS 1.14.).
<br /> E. Applicant will need to. get written approval from a public entity for the disposal of winery
<br /> wastewater by removal of winery-wastewater to an offsite disposal facility or from the Central
<br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for discharge to land. That written approval
<br /> shalt be presented to the Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of building
<br /> permit andlorfinal occupancy approval (San Joaquin County Development Title: Section 9-
<br /> 1125-5).
<br /> F. Open,. pump, and backfill the septic tank, seepage pit or excavation under permit and
<br /> inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County Development
<br /> Title, Section 9-1110..3&9-1110.4).
<br /> G. Applicant shall-contact Robert McClellon, Program Coordinator,, Small Public Water System
<br /> Program, at (20.9) 468-0332, to determine if the existing well can be permitted as a public
<br /> water system prior to issuance of building permits. if a public:water system is required,
<br /> applicant shall submit Small Public Water System preliminary technical report to, the
<br /> California State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water(Water Board)
<br /> atleast six months before initiating construction of any water related improvement, as
<br /> defined.The issuance ofa.permit to operate a small public watersysternby the local primacy
<br /> agency (EHD) is prohibited without the concurrence of the Water Board. Please contact
