Austin Rd, Ripon September 26, 2019 <br /> The disposal field area shall be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used <br /> as a storage area. This disposal field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and <br /> it cannot contain any underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> D. If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed through a sand/oil separator and <br /> discharged to an above ground system approved by the Environmental Health Department. <br /> A registered engineer must design this system. The material collected in the above ground <br /> holding system must be analyzed for hazardous constituents prior to disposal. Specific test <br /> requirements may be obtained from the Environmental Health Department. The fee will be <br /> based on the current schedule at the time of payment. <br /> E. The onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) shall be designed to receive all domestic <br /> sewage and wastewater from the property. Only domestic sewage is allowed to discharge <br /> into the OWTS. No basement, footing or surface drainage or discharge from water softener, <br /> iron filter, pool filters, or water treatment systems shall be permitted to enter any part of the <br /> OWTS. (San Joaquin County OWTS Standards 1.10.1) <br /> a. Prohibited discharges into OWTS include: automobile and garage waste, storm <br /> drainage, solvents and toxics, solids, garbage, kitchen wastewater from restaurant or <br /> bar, air conditioners, hazardous wastes, backwash, truck terminal wastes, recreational <br /> vehicle holding tank waste, industrial and manufacturing waste, and food processing <br /> wastes. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.7 and San Joaquin <br /> County OWTS 1.14). <br /> F. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates with the results submitted to the Environmental Health Department prior <br /> to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved <br /> laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> G. Destroy the abandoned well associated with permit (73-616), under permit and inspection <br /> by the Environmental Health Department as required by San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title, Section 9-1115.5(e). <br /> H. Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The <br /> Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.3 and 9-1115.6). <br /> I. Before any hazardous materials/waste can be stored or used onsite, the owner/operator <br /> must report the use or storage of these hazardous materials to the California Environmental <br /> Reporting System (CERS) at cers.calepa.ca.gov/ and comply with the laws and regulations <br /> for the programs listed below (based on quantity of hazardous material in some cases). <br /> a. Any amount but not limited to the following hazardous waste; hazardous material spills, <br /> used oil, used oil filters, used oil-contaminated absorbent/debris, waste antifreeze, used <br /> batteries or other universal waste, etc. — Hazardous Waste Program (Health &Safety <br /> Code (HSC) Sections 25404 & 25180 et sec.) <br />
