Valley Motors page 2
800 E. Main St., Stockton, CA.
UST sites are required to be in compliance with directives issued by PHS-EHD in order
to remain eligible to receive reimbursement from the SWRCB-Clean Up Fund. Failure
to comply with PHS-EHD directives may also result in a referral to the San Joaquin
County District Attorney's Environmental Prosecutions Unit for formal enforcement.
In a meeting held at PHS-EHD on January 12, 1999, Mr. Frank Enright assured the City
of Stockton representative and PHS-EHD that he would be submitting a document
concerning ownership of an abandoned waste oil UST at the northeast corner of the
site. This document was to be-submitted to PHS-EHD by March 1, 1999.
If a UST Closure Plan and fees are not submitted to PHS-EHD by March 31, 1999,
this matter will be referred to the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office
for formal enforcement action.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Enviro mental Health Division
Michael J.
