Main St. , Stockton; Site Code 1166 <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna; <br /> In correspondence to your office dated September 27th, I informed <br /> you that we had been retained by the owner to prepare a workplan <br /> for site investigation as required by your office, and had <br /> requested a time extension to November 24th. for submittal of <br /> that workplan. <br /> Unfortunately, I had assumed that a contractual agreement with <br /> Mr. Hyduke would be immediately forthcoming to allow us to <br /> proceed with the project. Due to a lengthy illness, and recent <br /> hospitalization, Mr. Hyduke did not sign that agreement until <br /> November 2nd. ; I have enclosed a copy of it for your information. <br /> Without proper authorization, we did not proceed with the work, <br /> and now over 30 days have passed since my correspondence to you. <br /> As a result of this delay, and previously scheduled field work <br /> for both Charles Fry & myself, it is very unlikely that we can <br /> comply with the November 24th. deadline. An additional two week <br /> extension, until Dec. 10th. , is requested to allow us sufficient <br /> time to prepare a workplan for submittal to your office. Hope- <br /> fully we can submit it sooner. <br /> I will be out of the office all of next week - I will contact you <br /> upon my return.
