Aug-18-99 08: 18A NM1&R Fair Oaks 916 967 1410 P_ 03
el-T-7edy, Inc..-
l pert envirnnmenta!
Mr. Cary W. Lee
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
North America West .Area
1909 Branding Iron Way
Roseville, CA 95661
26 September 1998
Valpico Rd. , Tracy, CA - Phase I
Dear Mr. Lee:
On Thursday, August 20 , 1998 I visited the subject property. The
subject property is shown on Figure 3. The site does not appear to
contain wetlands. A 40-year title search was not completed as this
site has been agricultural .
An irrigation return water basin .lies along the north boundary of
the property. Soil analysis revealed low levels of pesticides.
These do not pose a threat to ground water.
There is the possibility that a Storm Water Runoff Permit may be
required.
It appears this area is habitat/foraging grounds for
endangered/listed species. Mitigation and studies may be needed.
I have requested documents. from the City of Tracy regarding
mitigation measures . required.
The documents requested of the City of Tracy may also provide the
needed Indian artifact/burial grounds information. If not, we can
request the Central California Information Center to proceed with
initial study. More detailed information can be obtained from them
if the information is requested by the actual property owner.
I will inform you of the mitigation requirements and the Indian
study results or needed studies as soon as this information is
available. We are pleased to be able to perform this work for you
and look forward to helping you in the future. Please feel free to
call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Cindy Hoopes, Civil Engineer
1
" 7 rr
Noel N. Nelson, President
