Morehead the property was purchased in 1960 <br /> The agricultural use of the land since purchase has been: <br /> 1. Sudan Grass for seeds <br /> 2.Clover for seeds. <br /> 3. Corn and Oats <br /> The owner further states no chemicals were used on the land. Chicken manure was used <br /> as Ertilizer. I here is no well or septic on Parcel 1,2 or 3. The remainder parcel does have <br /> a well and septic system. All three proposed parcels front on Sowles Road and contain 10 acres. <br /> VISUAL FIELD INSPECTION: On Jan 26, 1999 a field review of the proposed three parcels <br /> was made. There was no evidence of point or non-point contamination. Winter oats has been <br /> planted. (See photographs). The photographs are typical for the three proposed parcels. <br /> RECORDS SEARCH: The Environmental Health Records were checked on Jan. 26 with the <br /> following results: <br /> 4. The list of contaminated sites did not list any sites near subject property. <br /> 5. A permit for septic repair dated 4 April 95 was approved for 25150 N. Sowles Rd. <br /> Repair consisted of 40' of Leach Line and 1 pit, 36" x 25'. The septic is located on the <br /> remainder parcel. Type of soil in top 3' was hardpan. Extent of contamination if any, is not <br /> known. There appears to be sufficient distance from the septic field to the northern proposed <br /> 2. <br />
