Ash, Idalk
MW MW
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
From visual observations, there appears to be no surface contamination. The domestic water
supplier, Cal Water Service, is continually monitoring and testing the water supply for specific
contaminants. Therefore, there is no need to do any analysis on the domestic water.
From the documentation presented, there appears to be currently no groundwater impact from the
Marley Cooling Tower Company, or any other publically referenced facility.
It is our opinion that contamination originating from septic systems which were originally in the
area is unlikely. Contamination is usually dependent upon the age and type of tank construction
material. Considering the 1.) depth to groundwater, 2.)the underlying high clay content soil
strata and 3.)the low density housing in the area on septic systems, the probability of pathogen
and/or nitrate contamination from these systems is unlikely.
Asbestos containing materials (ACM)testing from any portion of the existing buildings is
outside the scope of this investigation. If any of the buildings are to be demolished, suspect
materials should be sampled by an OSHA certified inspector and submitted to a qualified
laboratory for analysis.
3
*ality Coontrol Inspection
Oe
