DILLON & MURPHY
CONSULTING CIVIL ENGINEERS
1820 W. Kettleman Lane, Suite E, Lodi, California 95242
P. O. Box 2180, Lodi, California 95241
(209) 334-6613 • Fax (209) 334-0723
Memorandum
TO: San Joaquin County Planning Department
FROM: Joe Murphy
DATE: March 9, 1999
RE: Existing Property Use
16299 E. Highway 26
Linden, CA 95236
The proposed Parcel 1 is being done to divide an 11.5 parcel from an existing 47 acre parcel.
The existing business, Mid Valley Ag, is primarily an agriculture products sales business.
They deal in fertilizer, pesticides, and insecticides. Their products are warehoused in their
building.
The products are primarily picked up by the consumer in their own vehicles. Some deliveries
occur but that is not the primary means of distribution. Deliveries are made in less than truck
load lots.
There are other improvements on the proposed Parcel 1 associated with Mid Valley Ag
(storage buildings, retention pond, storage tanks, etc.). The acreage of Parcel 1 was dictated
by existing fences.
