LEVEL H SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> MANTECA BUSINESS CENTER <br /> 415 NORTH MAIN STREET <br /> MANTECA, CALIFORNIA <br /> ATEC Project Number 43-07-9200599 <br /> RTC Task Order 231 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report has been prepared by ATEC Environmental Consultants (ATEC), a division <br /> of ATEC Associates, Inc., for Resolution Trust Corporation to describe a limited Level <br /> H Site Assessment performed at the Manteca Business Center (site) located at 415 North <br /> Main Street, Manteca, California (Figure 1). <br /> The Level II investigation consisted of two parts: a subsurface investigation and <br /> regulatory file review. The field work for the Level II subsurface investigation was <br /> conducted at the site on November 20, 1992. The regulatory file review was performed <br /> on January 6-8, 1993. The two parts of the investigation are described separately in <br /> Sections 3.0 and 4.0 below. <br /> 2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> The site consists of a wood-framed, multi-tenant office complex with a rear parking lot <br /> and landscaped grounds. Access to the site parking lot is from North Main Street <br /> (Figure 2). The complex was constructed in 1978 as two separate but adjoining one- <br /> story buildings. <br /> 1 <br />
