K L E I N F E L D E R S HISTORY OF THE SITE Kleinfelder researches several sources for historical land use information. The purpose of the research is to provide general land use history for the last 50 years using aerial photographs, interviews, Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps, City Directories and title information (if provided by client). The following describes the information revealed by the sources. 5.1. AERIAL PHOTOGRAPI-IY 4 A review of historical aerial photographs may indicate past activities at a property that may not be documented by other means. or observed during a property visit. The effectiveness of this technique depends on the scale and quality of the photographs and the available coverage. Kleinfelder reviewed available aerial photographs at the San Joaquin County Public Works and Kleinfelder archives. The aerial photographs reviewed for the assessment are described below in - Table 4. No structures were noted on site. In the 1975 through 1995 aerial photographs the subject site is occupied by of two structures. The structures appear to be a residence and a barn. There is miscellaneous debris located in this area (i.e. wood. automobiles, etc.). The remaininu portion of the site is a fallow agricultural field.
