Board of Housing Appear aeting <br /> Staff Report — 712 S. Anteros Ave., Stockton <br /> posted on the house as an emergency contact for the property. The Safeguard <br /> representative stated that the house would be secured later in the day. <br /> 10/13/16 EHD sent the property owner a letter notifying them that if all violations were not <br /> corrected within 30 days, the case would be heard at the San Joaquin County <br /> Board of Housing Appeals (BONA) meeting. Certified mail was received October <br /> 17, 2016. <br /> 11/08/16 EHD's check of the Community Development Department's permit database <br /> showed no current issued permits. <br /> VI. Environmental Health Department Recommendations <br /> The Environmental Health Department recommends the Board confirm the findings of the <br /> violations for the posted structure and that the owner be given: <br /> a. Thirty (30) days to obtain all required repair and/or demolition permits from the San <br /> Joaquin County Community Development Department. <br /> b. Forty-five (45) days to begin authorized work on the substandard structure. <br /> c. One hundred twenty (120) days to correct all State Housing Law violations and to final <br /> any required permits from the San Joaquin County Community Development <br /> Department. <br /> If the above time constraint is not met, the Environmental Health Department may proceed <br /> with abatement action without further report to the board as follows: <br /> Institute an appropriate action or proceeding consistent with the case conditions that may <br /> include the vacation, repair, or demolition of all posted structure(s) and appurtenances thereto, <br /> the removal of refuse, debris, solid waste, scrap metal, and hazardous wastes from the <br /> premises, and/or the referral of the case to the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office <br /> for further enforcement action. <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br />
