Automatic Tank Calibration
This feature reduces the possibility that an inaccurate tank chart would be the source of errors
in inventory reconciliation.
• During setup you can program into the EMC the tank chart in 1, 4, or 20 points, tank volume
and tank diameter.
• When a customer dispenses fuel, the EMC compares the drop in the tank fuel height, the
metered volume data, and the tank data programmed at setup to analyze discrepancies.
• The EMC revises the chart when discrepancies are identified.
• Over time, the chart becomes more and more accurate.
• You can acquire an updated tank chart from the EMC using a PC and an RS232 interface.
The chart will show volumes at 1" increments throughout the height of the tank.
Adjusted Delivery Report
When you receive a bulk delivery to a tank.the EMC can measure the amount of fuel dispensed
during the delivery using the dispenser interface module. The EMC then provides a report
showing:
• Actual and temperature compensated fuel increase amounts
• Actual and temperature compensated fuel delivery amounts
• Amount of fuel dispensed during the delivery
You can compare this report to the delivery ticket and invoice to verify the fuel delivery amount
is the same.
Manual Adjustment
The Manual Adjustment feature permits accurate reconciliation for activities that could cause
variances. Fuel dispensed during meter testing will be recorded as metered sales, however
small amounts returned to the tank after the test may not trigger a delivery report. Manual
Adjustment lets you keep your inventory accurate.
Programmable Reconciliation Report Times
You can program the EMC to provide Inventory Reconciliation reports at the end of each of
three shifts, daily or periodically to cover up to a 35-day period.
Pressurized Line Leak Detection (PLLD)
This technology provides an accurate 0.1 gph precision and 3.0 gph test for underground
fiberglass lines at full pump pressure.
PLLD lowers line leak detection installation costs and eliminates yearly precision line leak
testing. For existing site retrofit, PLLD's pump port check valve installs into the mechanical leak
detector port without a need to connect to or break existing piping. New site installation can be
made in-line, and less expensive, using PLLD in the pump output port. PLLD's .01 gph software
option eliminates yearly precision line leak testing by an outside agency.
