WRITTEN MONITORING PROCEDURES <br /> UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> This monitoring program must be kept at the UST location at all times. The information on this monitoring <br /> program is a condition of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify Sacramento County Environmental <br /> Health Department, Hazardous Materials Division,phone(916)386-6160 within 30 days of any changes to the <br /> monitoring procedures,unless required to obtain approval before making the change. Required by Sections 2632 <br /> (d)and 2641 (h)CCR. <br /> This plan written on September 20, 1999 <br /> Facility Name: United Gas <br /> Facility Address: 440 West Charter Way, Stockton, CA <br /> A. Describe the frequency of performing the monitoring. <br /> Tank: Continuous (electronic) <br /> Piping: Continuous (electronic) <br /> B. What methods and equipment identified by name and model,will be used for <br /> performing the monitoring: <br /> Tank: Gilbarco EMC 2000 monitor system with tank annulus sensor and tank inventory <br /> Probe. Tank to have dry annulus. <br /> Piping: Gilbarco EMC 2000 monitor system with liquid sensors in turbine/pipe sumps <br /> and in dispenser containment pans. Line Leak Detector: Vaporless LD2000 <br /> C. Describe the locations where the monitoring will be performed (facility plot <br /> plan should be attached): Liquid sensors will be placed in the dispenser containment <br /> sumps and the turbine/piping sumps at the UST's. Hydrostatic sensors will be placed in <br /> the liquid reservoirs at the UST's. Automatic line leak detectors will be installed at the <br /> outlet side of the submersible pumps. Tank inventory/level probes will be installed in the <br /> UST's. All sensors and probes will be connected electrically to the Gilbarco EMC 2000 <br /> monitor console and will operate continuous 24 hours per day. 7 days per week. <br /> D. List the name(s) and title(s) of the people responsible for performing the monitoring <br /> and/or maintaining the equipment: <br /> Jodha Gill, Owner <br /> E. Reporting format for monitoring: <br /> Reports can be generated directly from the Gilbarco EMC 2000 console printer. Printouts <br /> will be kept in a safe place at the site. <br /> F. Describe the preventive maintenance schedule for the monitoring equipment. Note: <br /> maintenance must be in accordance with the manufacturers' maintenance schedule, <br /> but not less than every 12 months: Factory authorized maintenance every 12 months. <br /> G. Describe the training necessary for the operation of the UST system, including <br /> piping and monitoring equipment: <br /> Attend facility operation training and receive field instructions from factory authorized <br /> personnel at time of start up of equipment. <br />
