Attending the meeting were you representing Shell Oil,Joe Neely,Dan
Lescure,and Mike Murphy representing Conestoga-Rovers &Associates (CRA),Margaret Lagorio,
Nuel Henderson,Harlin Knoll,Michael Infuma,Lori Duncan,and Vicki McCartney representing
EHD. There was a general discussion about total delineation of contamination for all constituents
of concern at sites as well as early evaluation of all the environmental risks from the contamination
such as vapor intrusion, gross contamination and direct exposure. The following is a synopsis of the
status and/or site specific discussions at the meeting.
1313 Charter Way, Stockton
EHD staff is not being informed of quarterly monitoring events. The extent of the 1,2 DCA
contamination must be investigated on the south side of Charter Way. EHD will provide a site
specific letter regarding this requirement.
620 Charter Way, Stockton
CRA received an access agreement from McDonald's restaurant located at 611 West Charter Way
and Shell Oil is reviewing it. CRA will attempt again to contact the property owners of the Delta
Market building located at 549 West Charter Way and NDA Enterprises LLC located at 550 West
Charter Way to request access to both properties for the purpose of installing monitoring wells.
CRA will notify EHD if CRA believes EHD should send another letter to the two property owners.
CRA will need another extension for completing the fieldwork at these two parcels. Fieldwork is
scheduled for the week of May 7th for installing monitoring wells onsite.
440 Charter Way, Stockton
Shell is waiting for access agreements from off-site property owners so they can implement the
approved work plan.
1267 Country Club,Stockton
The core area of contamination must be laterally and vertically defined. It was discussed that a work
plan would be submitted for one C-zone well on site, one C-zone well off site, one A-zone well in
the core area, three B-zone wells on site and two B-zone wells off site.
2575 Country Club, Stockton
The ground water extraction (GWE) system is in operation. The property owner of nearby
apartments is concerned about vapor intrusion so this issue must be addressed.
