Equilon Enterprises - 4 - • August 11, 2011
BENZENE Results for MW-4
ea6-
e66
_ voa
600
,00
BENZENE + T19nJ
Risk Evaluation
Reportedly, no human health risk assessment has been conducted. There are no water supply
wells or surface water receptors present within 2,500 feet of the Site.
Recommendation
July 2010, the Fund concurs with the San Joaquin County LOP that additional remediation is
necessary to achieve Water Quality Objectives in a timely manner. The Fund will review this
site next year to track progress.
UPDATED, August 2011, the Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP require that
the Responsible Party begin active remediation to reduce the mass of fuel hydrocarbons
beneath the site. The Fund does not support further investigation southeast of the site, which
will do little to expand knowledge of this hydrocarbon plume and only provide information for a
chlorinated solvent plume south of this site. ,/
Kirk Larson, P.G.
