Y <br /> CAMBRIA <br /> 1997 Soil Borings/Well Installation During July 1997, Cambria drilled four onsite soil bonngs <br /> near the dispenser islands Petroleum constituents were delineated in soil in all the borings <br /> except one drilled near the northeastern dispenser <br /> During September 1997, Cambria installed monitoring wells MW-4 through MW-7 This <br /> investigation is described in Cambria's November 11, 1997 Site Investigation Report/Quarterly <br /> Monitoring Report—Fourth Quarter 1997 <br /> 2000-2001 Cone Penetration Test Bortngs/Well Installation: During May 2000, Cambria <br /> drilled two cone penetration test borings, and during November 2001, installed groundwater <br /> monitoring wells MW-10 and MW-11 Proposed wells MW-8 and MW-9 could not be installed <br /> at the original proposed locations due to the presence of utilities The results of this investigation <br /> are presented in Cambria's Fourth Quarter 2001 Groundwater Monitoring/Site Investigation <br /> Report and Receptor Survey,dated January 11, 2002 <br /> 2002 Well Installation: During August 2002, Cambria installed wells MW-8 and MW-9 across <br /> Pacific Avenue from the subject site Cambria details this investigation in our January 6, 2003 <br /> Site Investigation and Third Quarter 2003 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Based on the groundwater monitoring results, SJCEHD requested submittal of a work plan for <br /> further groundwater plume assessment Cambria submitted the requested work plan on <br /> October 3, 2003 and this work is presented below <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Program: Prior to this investigation, there were four onsite <br /> groundwater monitoring wells, one onsite vapor extraction well, and seven offsite groundwater <br /> monitoring wells, which are sampled quarterly Cambria received SJCEHD's December <br /> 23, 2003 letter, which approved Cambria's proposed revised quarterly groundwater monitoring <br /> and sampling program Site wells (MW-1 through MW-11 and VEW-2) will be analyzed <br /> quarterly for TPHg, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), methyl tertiary butyl ether <br /> (MTBE), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and ethylene dibrorrude(EDB) Samples from all wells <br /> will be analyzed annually in the third quarter for fuel oxygenates by EPA Method 8260B <br /> INVESTIGATION RESULTS <br /> Personnel Present- Geologist Anne Wettstone directed the field activities, working <br /> under the supervision of California Registered Geologist Joe <br /> Neely <br /> 0854 3 <br />
