The surface <br /> of the water was further inspected for the presence of immiscibles which may be present as <br /> a thin film (a sheen on the surface of the water) or as a measurable free product zone <br /> kr.r2.). At intervals during the evacuation phase, the purge water was motutored with <br /> instruments that measure electrical conductivity (EC), potential hydrogen (pH), tempera- <br /> ture (degrees Fahrenheit), and turbidity (NTU).
