PROBLEM AMSSIENT REPORT
5131 Pacific Ave , Stockton, CA
Aegis Project No 90-020
Page 13
5.0 CONCLUSIONS
Aegis offers the following conclusions regarding petroleum
' hydrocarbons in soils beneath the site:
1) Petroleum hydrocarbons exist in fill material within the
original tank basin, in native soils adjacent to and below
the original tank basin.
2) The primary source of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil appears
to have been a hiatus (cause unknown) in the bottom of the
regular unleaded tank.
3) Ground water, containing dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons,
' exists beneath the site at approximately 55-feet below
grade.
4) The extent of ground water containing dissolved petroleum
hydrocarbons remains undefined.
5) The system of vapor extraction wells , horizontal vapor
extraction piping system and ground water monitoring wells
may be sufficient to begin removal of petroleum hydrocarbons
beneath the site.
