PROBLEM ASSESSMENT REPORT <br /> 6131 Pacific Ave , Stockton, CA <br /> Aegis Project No 90-020 <br /> Page 3 <br /> 2 .0 BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br /> ' The following subsections discuss the site description, and location <br /> and updates pertinent background information. A complete review of the <br /> I on and off-site utilities, regional and geologic setting, prior work <br /> completed at the site, and a description of surrounding properties is <br /> included in Aegis, Pre-tank Replacement Assessment Work Plan dated <br /> March 6, 1990. <br /> 2 . 1 Site Location <br /> The Site is located on the southwest corner at the intersection of <br /> Pacific and Porter Avenues in Stockton, San Joaquin County, <br /> ICalifornia, Section 21, Township 2 North, Range 6 East (Figure 1) . <br /> 2.2 Site Description <br /> An operational Shell service station currently occupies the Site which <br /> consists of four canopy covered pump islands, a kiosk and a <br /> storage/restroom building (Figure 2) . The kiosk is located between the <br /> pump islands on the central portion of the Site. The storage/ restroom <br /> building is located on the south western corner of the site. Three <br /> underground fuel storage tanks located adjacent to and northwest of <br /> the pump islands have been removed and replaced by three underground <br /> fuel storage tanks on the north east portion of the site.
