1 <br /> DROP TUBE CHECK SHEET INSTRUCTIONS <br /> S. S. # 62567000276 <br /> 1.) Remove tight fill cap, look down tube, and check for following: <br /> a.) Loose or damaged deflector. No <br /> b.) Flapper hanging out past deflector. No <br /> 2.) Pull out drop tube and check for the following: <br /> For OPW 61-SO: <br /> a.) Float pivots freely and resets at approx. 30 degree angle from vertical when <br /> at rest. Float does not hang up in any position. Yes <br /> b.) Deflector rivets are intact. Rivets must be stainless steel as supplied. Yes <br /> c.) Three (3) screws are properly installed and aluminum tube and screw heads are <br /> not damaged nor cracked. Yes <br /> d.) Look down drop tube while float is pivoted to see if flapper moves into tube properly <br /> and resets behind deflector. Yes <br /> For EMCO Wheaton: <br /> a.) Deflector rivets are intact. <br /> b.) Three (3) screws are properly installed and aluminum tube around screw heads are <br /> not damaged nor cracked. <br /> c.) Aluminum sheathing around mechanism is not dented. <br /> d.) Space behind deflector plate is free of wood chips, debris, etc. <br /> FOR STRAIGHT DROP TUBES (CHECK ONE) <br /> 1.) 4" STRAIGHT DROP TUBE <br /> 2.) 4"STRAIGHT COAXIAL DROP TUBE <br /> 3.) 3" STRAIGHT DROP TUBE <br /> 4.) 3" STRAIGHT COAXIAL DROP TUBE <br />
