17 July 1992
(GeoAudit CV 42F5-1.26)
from MW-2 , which is the closest well to the former tank cavity, and
I the highest TPH value was obtained from MW-1, which is the farthest
well from the cavity.
I Contaminated groundwater was previously reported on the property to
the west (1325 W. Weber) , owned by Catellus Development. Diesel-
contaminated groundwater was also reported at Union Ice, south of
the Babka site.
We recommend a second round of water sampling and measurement
within the next two months. If contamination is still present at
that time, Appendix A of the Tri-Regional Board Guidelines requires
that further assessment of the lateral extent of groundwater
contamination be undertaken.
LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care
and skill ordinarily exercised by environmental consultants
practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were mainly
based on analytical results provided by an independent laboratory.
Evaluations of the geologic conditions at the site for the purpose
of this investigation are made from a limited number of available
data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to
the professional recommendations contained in this report.
I
I
