VRO_ nw
opIN
M
E ;
SnE STATUS OFINVESTIGATION
AND
CLEAN UP ACTIVITIES
i
Previously submitted reports include all activities associated with the investigation and
clean up of this site.
Those activities include:
A soil vapor study;
Installation of eight monitoring wells, pumping tests and well development:
Re-Excavation of contaminated soils; -
Aeration of contaminated soils (on site).
The site shows no ground water contamination, at this time, therefore, we have no
"zero line" on the ground water contour map.
The soils have been remediated except for a small amount left in place. The soils left
f in place are going to be defined by drilling two soil borings to the east of wells 4S and
4D and four borings to the southeastern edge of the excavation (see Plate). A work
plan has been submitted to the County for approval and permits will be obtained, as
soon as the work plan is approved.
We plan no further soils remediation activities until after the completion of the
exploratory boring program. Once we have assessed the possible soils contamination to
the east and southeast of the remedial excavation, we will determine if further work is
necessary. No remediation of ground water is anticipated, as there is no apparent con- —
tamination.
