gra
Union Ice COMPMY- Weber Street
deport Of Ki7dings
Page: 4
4. After completion Of the soils vapor survey, 2 to 3 additional monitor wells
should be installed to confirm contamimult Plume boundaries.
5. After the confirmation monitor wells described above are installed, an
aquifer test program of the upper aquifer should be conducted in order to
effectively design the ground water remediation program. This aquifer test
c'
program should include;
A. Slug tests in the monitor wells within and adjacent to the Plume.
These tests will yield Preliminary hydraulic properties of the
aquifer, and aid in designing more extensive tests.
B. A step discharge Pumping test of monitor well 4S.
C. A constant discharge pumping test of monitor well 4S (this well
will be converted to a production well).
D. Ground water modeling to aid in Prediction of the success of the
ground water remediation program.
The above represents our best professional opinion as to hydrogeologic conditions at
this site. These opinions were derived using data at hand, and using sta-sidards of care
common to the environmental consulting community in Northern California in Spring
of 1990. Additional work-at this site may generate data that could lead to a change of
opinion regarding site conditions or appropriate site remediation procedures or both.
RED ne
it
WILLIAM R.
'V,V., HENKI 'i, JR.
No.0107'9 EG 001233
CERTIFIED
Expires- j- 4)9f ENGINEERING
GEOLOGIST
Steve Furnas William i2.
