This information is provided in response to a <br /> 21 December, 1999 request by Marty Hartzell of the Central Valley, <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board,who cited inconsistencies with <br /> subsequent correspondence. Based on a physical reconnaissance and <br /> Global Positioning System(GPS) survey on the site and in the vicinity, <br /> ERM has determined the following regarding the two wells originally <br /> identified as being within a 2,000-foot radius of the properties: <br /> F . <br /> { • The irrigation well located at Cornell Court and 1-5 was apparently <br /> abandoned in August 1999 (see enclosed PHS/EHD application for <br /> well abandonment). The well was owned by Caltrans,and was used <br /> for landscape irrigation. <br /> • The property located at 215 S.
