Discussed herein are the purging and sampling
methods and the results of the laboratory analyses. Also included with this
report are the second quarter sampling findings for your reference.
Monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5 (Figure 1) were purged and
sampled on September 9, 1991 by ERM-West, Inc. personnel. Sampling was
accomplished with a pre-cleaned Teflon bailer equipped with a removable
petcock. Water was transfered from the bailer into laboratory-supe
bottles. All samples provided to the laboratory were labeled and sealed into
zip-lock type plastic bags, and then placed on ice in a cooler.
_ Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures were followed
during purging and sampling. Prior to work at each well, the equipment
-- - ---- -- - - was cleaned and decontaminated with an Alconox solution followed by a
- clean water rinse. Water from decontamination procedures was retained
in 55-gallon drums and stored on site. Latex type gloves were worn while
handling sampling equipment and sample bottles.
