SECTION 1 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This document is the Final Remediation Plan (FRP) for two former <br /> underground fuel storage tank sites located on the property at the <br /> western extreme of West Weber Avenue in Stockton, California <br />' (Figure 1-1) This report summarizes the information provided in the <br /> Preliminary Assessment Report for Former Storage Tanks Located At <br /> 1325, 1541 and 1515 West Weber Avenue, Stockton, California (ERM- <br /> West, Inc , May 1993) (the PAR) and describes the detailed remediation <br /> plan This FRP is being submitted to the Environmental Health <br /> Division (EHD) of San Joaquin County Public Health Services by ERM- <br /> West, Inc (ERM-West) on behalf of Catellus Development Corporation <br /> (Catellus), as requested by the EHD in a letter dated <br /> June 24, 1993 This document has been prepared in accordance with <br /> applicable regulatory guidelines, specifically the Tri-Regional Board <br />' Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation <br /> of Underground Tank Sites, dated August 10, 1990 <br /> This FRP addresses two specific site locations at the following addresses <br /> on the West Weber property (Figure 1-2) <br /> • 1515 West Weber Avenue Former Tank Site #1, and <br />' • 1325 West Weber Avenue Former Tank Site #2 <br /> Underground fuel storage tanks have been removed from both sites <br /> and, releases of petroleum products from the underground storage <br /> tanks have been detected The extent of the constituents in soil and <br /> ground water has been characterized at both sites A tank was also <br />' removed from Former Tank Site #3 (1541 West Weber Avenue) No <br /> impacts to soils or ground water were associated with Site #3 <br />' The purpose of this report is to describe in detail the proposed <br /> remediation plan for Tank Sites #1 and #2 The remediation plan is <br /> based on the recommended alternative selected in the PAR <br />' Following this introduction, Section 2 provides the site background <br /> information The scope of the previous investigations and site <br /> conditions are described in Section 3 Section 4 summarizes the <br /> evaluation of the remedial alternatives, and identifies the selected <br /> alternative Section 5 provides a detailed description of the <br /> 1-1 <br />
