If we take the measured TN concentration of the septic tank effluent at 146 mg/L and decrease this <br />concentration by 30% as was calculated above, we find that a theoretical TN concentration of 103 <br />mg/L may enter the water table. The TN concentration determined in the water table sample was <br />found to be 113 mg/L. Therefore, the percolating effluent from the proposed project will <br />theoretically create a dilution effect to the TN concentration found in the water table. <br />It is imperative that low strength and low volumes of cleaners are used in the Restrooms/ <br />Breakrooms since they can disrupt the septic tank biology. <br />-10- <br />Chesney Consulting <br />
