According to the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department Well Standards, wells known to be contaminated or in areas where there is
known contamination must be destroyed by over-drilling. Explosives are not an option, except for CMT wells.
Also, the metal conductor casing with a cement seal can remain in place and the PVC casing inside the conductor
casing must be over drilled. This contradicts what I mentioned in my last email to you concerning conductor
casing.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-9852
Email: vmccartneysicehd.com
I
i
5/3/2012
