Samples were analyzed for BTEX, EDC, EDB, and TPH
by a California-certified laboratory. Results of all ground-water
sampling at the site are summarized in Table 5. Laboratory
analytical reports are presented in Appendix B.
Examination of Table 5 indicates that concentrations of petroleum
constituents at MW-2, NW-3, NW-4, are low, with concentrations
never exceeding maximum contaminant levels (mcls) for BTEX. No
petroleum constituents were detected at MW-6. Concentrations of
benzene excoed mcla at monitoring wells MW-1 and NW-5, but appear
to have fallen appreciably at NW-1 since the first sampling event
in August, 1988.
TABLE 5
Ground-Water Analytical Results
sample Ethyl-
ID pi g Benzene Toluene Benzene Xylenes FDD EDB TPH
::1-1 08-22-88 NE" .: NF NF 11.0 7.30 NF 930.0
05-12-89 130.0 30.0 90.0 . 90.0 NF NF <500.0
06-27-89 150.0 NF 72.0 30.0 NF NF 600.0
07-06-90 11.0NF 3.4 1.6 NF .
