4 <br /> PROBLEM ASSESSRENT REPORT <br /> Mocre Petroleun, Inc- <br /> 5941 F Street, Santa, CA <br /> NOA Project No. 10-90-481 <br /> Page 14 <br /> 6.0 RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based on the results of this Problem Assessment Report, NGA <br /> recommends completion of the following tasks. <br /> • Examine one year of daily tank inventory records for USTs <br /> at the site. <br /> "` • Place small-diameter boreholes at selected locations <br /> within the tank backfill. Submit soil samples of tank <br /> backfill material to a California-certified laboratory <br /> to be analyzed for BTEX, EDB, EDC, and TPH. <br /> ,,.u° • Install a monitoring/injection well (MW-7) at the <br /> ;..; location shown on Figure 9. Collect a ground-water., <br /> sample from MW-7 and submit it to a California-certified <br /> laboratory to be analyzed for BTEX, EDB, EDC, and TPH. <br /> • Should tank inventory records and soil sample analytical <br /> results indicate that there are no on going releases of <br /> f hydrocarbons into site soils Ind ground-water analytical <br /> i. results from MW-7 show non-detectible (or below action <br /> of petroleum constituents, <br /> level) concentrations <br /> implement the ground-water remediation gragram of <br /> r�` scenario 2. <br />
