This report is based, in part, on information supplied to Apex Envirotech, Inc., (Apex) <br /> by Moore Petroleum, Inc. (Moore) and is subject to modification as newly acquired information <br /> may warrant. <br /> 1.1 Purpose <br /> The purpose of this report is to <br /> • provide a site characterization report regarding contamination at the subject site; <br /> • describe goals and expected results of proposed remediation activities; <br /> • describe the proposed remediation system; <br /> �►.�` <br /> • provide implementation and periodic reporting schedules. <br /> 2.0 SITE CHARACTERIZATION <br /> 2.1 Previous Site Investigations <br /> Apex began work on the project with the groundwater monitoring conducted on January 14, <br /> 1994. Prior to Apex, work conducted at the site included subsurface investigations and <br /> groundwater monitoring by Earth Treatment Systems, Inc., of Manteca, California, Delta <br /> Environmental Consultants, Inc., of Rancho Cordova, California,Nations Groundwater <br /> Associates(Nations)of Sacramento, California, and Aegis Environmental, Inc. (Aegis), of <br /> Roseville, California. Site details may be found in a "Problem Assessment Report," dated <br /> September 15, 1990, submitted to Moore by Nations. <br /> The site is located at 5491 F Street, Banta, California, at the intersection of F and Sixth Streets. <br /> The site is located in a rural residential area with private residences located adjacent to the <br /> property(Figures 1 and 2). The site is operated as a bulk storage facility for petroleum products <br /> by Moore Petroleum, Inc. (Moore). <br /> ERA02.004CAP. <br />
