(Apex), is pleased to provide Moore Petroleum (Moore) this Workplan for <br /> the installation of a soil and groundwater interim remediation system at the subject site (Figure <br />` 1). This report also presents the results of the 4th Quarter 2000 Groundwater Monitoring Event. <br /> This Workplan was perpared in response to the groundwater analytical results collected on <br /> October 27, 2000 and a letter from San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division(County) <br /> dated November 13, 2000. A copy of the County's letter is presented in Appendix A. <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from the 12 monitoring wells and from an off-site supply <br /> l well on October 27, 2000 (Figure 2). The results indicted methyl-tert butyl ether(MTBE)was <br /> present in the off-site supply well(Rhodes Well) at 14 parts per billion (ppb). Apex re-sampled <br /> the Rhodes well on November 8, 2000 and the results were below laboratory detection limits.for 1 <br /> gasoline and MTBE. Apex re-sampled the Rhodes well and the domestic well immediately east <br /> II of the Rhodes well (Marty well) on November 13, 2000. The results of the November 13,,2000 r <br /> sampling were all below laboratory detection limits for the two wells. The groundwater x <br /> analytical results are summarized in Tables 2 and 3. <br /> Apex also performed a door-to-door well search of a 2000-foot radius around the site on <br /> November 13, 2000. Results of this detailed well search are presented in this Workplan. <br />
