{ <br /> d Results of Limited Subsurface Investigation and Fourth <br /> $ Quarter 1999 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Moore Petroleum,5493 F Street,Banta,California <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Groundwater Levels <br /> On October 28, 1999, Apex personnel collected water-level measurements from all nine <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4A, and MW-5 through MW-9). All <br /> groundwater elevations were measured to the nearest 0.01 foot, referenced to the surveyed top- <br /> of-casing elevations, and conducted according to the Apex SOP. Water-level measurements <br /> collected to date by Apex are summarized in Table 2. Figure 3 is a groundwater contour map of <br /> the shallow water-bearing zone on October 28, 1999. <br /> Groundwater Sampling and Analysis <br /> On October 28, 1999, Apex personnel collected groundwater samples from all nine groundwater <br /> monitoring wells. The samples were submitted, under chain-of-custody documentation, to <br /> Sparger Technology, Inc. of Sacramento, California.. The laboratory analytical reports and chain- <br /> of-custody forms are included in Attachment'C. All samples were collected according to the. <br /> Apex SOP. <br /> Groundwater samples were analyzed for concentrations of: a) TPH, as gasoline; TPH; as diesel; <br /> TPH, as kerosene by modified EPA Method 8015; b) BTEX by EPA Method 8020; and c) five <br /> fuel oxygenates by EPA Method 8260. Analytical results collected by Apex to date are <br /> summarized in Tables 3 and 4. <br /> All purged and recovered liquids are stored temporarily on site in Department of Transportation- <br /> approved, 55--gallon drums pending.removal from the site by a licensed hauler to an appropriate <br /> disposal facility. <br /> A copy of this Report was submitted to: <br /> Mr. Mark List <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> 3443 Routier Road, Suite A <br /> Sacramento, California 95827-3098 <br /> Ms. Margaret Lagorio <br /> T San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division <br /> P.
