- Fourth Quarter 2001 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Moore Petroleum Bulk Plant,5491 F Street,Banta,California <br /> Page 4 <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Groundwater Levels <br /> On November 1,2001,Apex personnel collected depth to water measurements from groundwater <br /> monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4A, MW-5, MW-7 through MW-12), recovery <br /> well RW-2, and one vapor extraction well (VEW-2). All depth to groundwater were measured to <br /> the nearest 0.01 foot, referenced to the surveyed top-of-casing elevations, and conducted <br /> according to the Apex standard operating procedures (SOP) included as Appendix A. <br /> Groundwater level measurements collected by Apex are summarized in Table 1 and field data <br /> sheets are included as Appendix B. <br /> Figure 3 is a groundwater contour map of the shallow water-bearing zone on November 1, 2001, <br /> and shows groundwater flow beneath the subject site to be towards the northeast at an <br /> approximate hydraulic gradient of 0.002 ft/ft. <br /> Groundwater Sampling and Analysis <br /> Apex personnel collected groundwater samples from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, <br /> MW-4A, MW-5, MW-7 through MW-12, RW-2, VEW-2, and the off-site domestic well <br /> according to the Apex SOP included in Appendix A.
