Fourth Quarter 2001 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> (v! Moore Petroleum Bulk Plant,5491 F Street,Banta,California <br /> Page 6 <br /> • MW-12: MTBE and TPH motor oil were the only detected constituents <br /> • VEW-2: TPHg and TPHd were detected this quarter along with benzene and MTBE. <br /> TPH kerosene decreased from 56,000 ug/L to non-detect. MTBE increased this <br /> quarter to a historic high for this location. <br /> • RW-2: TPHg and TPHd were detected along with benzene ethylbenzene, total <br /> xylenes, and MTBE. <br /> The Rhodes domestic well was sampled on November 1, 2001. Concentrations were non-detect <br /> for all analyzed constituents. <br /> Apex recommends continuing quarterly groundwater monitoring to confirm laboratory data and <br /> monthly groundwater sampling of the domestic well. The next monitoring event is scheduled for <br /> February 2002. <br /> Apex has applied to the SJVUAPCD for an Authority to Construct (A/C)permit for a new vapor <br /> extraction unit and treatment system. System installation and start up is pending receipt of the <br /> A/C permit and delivery of the system. It is anticipated that the system will be installed and <br /> started in March 2002. <br /> S <br />
