Since the hydrocarbon concentrations have declined, Apex-has
been operating on a two-week on two-week off cycle to allow rebound to occur. Accordin to
a g
hour meter readings and field data, the-s operated for 41 days, All influent samples
collected during this reporting period were non-detect for benzene-concentrations and only low .
TPHg concentrations were reported (Table-5). . '
Table 5 summarizes extraction and emission data from sampling events that are normally ,
Perform.ed at the beginning of each month. The flow rates and analytical data are used to
M
calculate approximate pounds of hydrocarbons extracted. l
Vapor Anal sis Performed:
' Analysis Abbreviation Desi nation
- g USEPA Method No. i
= Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons Gas-Range 3' j
x.: as Gasoline TPHg H drocarbons 8260E k
_ Benzene .
f Aromatic
Toluene
f Eth (benzene BTEX, , Volatile 82606
' Xylenes (Total) Organics
Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether :MTBE Fuel .8260E ,l ,
F Oxygenate
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS _
"
Based on groundwater analytical results, concentrations remained consistent this quarter
i compared with last quarter. Hydrocarbon concentrations-classified as TPHd and TPHmo 4
continue to vacillate between each other due to laboratory interpretation of the results. Thea-
domestic well sampling results for all three sampling events during the quarter were below
detection limits.
Groundwater elevations decreased an average.1.85 feet this quarter compared with last quarter.
