Technical data on the ozone system and the spacing of the sparge points was <br /> also requested. On January 14, 2004, Apex submitted a report titled,Addendum to <br /> Work <br /> lan Ozone Sparging, addressing the November 10 2003 SJCEHD letter. o <br /> r <br /> May 12, 2004 - The SJCEHD responded to the aforementioned Addendum to Workplan for <br /> Ozone Sparging, by approving the proposed ozone sparge wells and requesting application for <br /> drilling permits. <br /> The SJCEHD directed that an addendum be made by June 1, 2004, to the Workplan for a Limited <br /> Subsurface Site Investigation, dated Jan 14, 2004,'in order to define the vertical extent of <br /> contamination. <br /> June 2, 2004 - SJCEHD requested an addendum to the workplan, proposing an additional cone <br /> penetration testing (CPT)boring and relocation of the proposed groundwater monitoring well <br /> MW-17. <br /> During September of 2004,Apex installed and tested an SVE system with activated carbon <br /> adsorption as the control device. In addition,Apex installed an ozone generator system for <br /> eventual ozone sparging.
