Technical data on the ozone system and the spacing of the sparge points was
also requested. On January 14, 2004, Apex submitted a report titled,Addendum to Workplan for i
Ozone Sparging, addressing the November 10, 2003 SJCEHD letter.
On May 12, 2004, the SJCEHD responded to the aforementioned Addendum to Workplan for
Ozone Sparging, by approving the proposed ozone sparge wells and requesting application for
drilling permits.
The SJCEHD directed that an addendum be made by June 1, 2004, to the Workplan for a Limited
Subsurface Site Investigation, dated Jan 14, 2004, in order to define the vertical extent of
contamination.
Apex is currently obtaining permits to install the proposed ozone sparge system.
