1 r r
Blatt Commercial Brokerage 5
April 5, 1990
202/029000-080
Development water will be stored on site in 55-gallon DOT-approved drums. Dis-
posal of the development water will be the responsibility of Blatt Commercial Brokerage.
4.0 WATER SAMPLING AND ANALYSES
A Groundwater Technology geologist will return to the site after the monitoring
well has fully recovered from the development work. The water level in the well will be
gauged and recorded from grade. The well will then be bailed by hand until pH and
conductivity readings indicate that representative formation water is present in the well.
Groundwater samples will be collected with a Teflon bailer and poured carefully into
500-milliliter plastic bottles. Nitric acid will be added to the samples so that the pH will
be less than 2. The bottles will be capped, labeled, and stored on ice for transport to
GTEL. The samples will be accompanied by a Chain-of-Custody manifest at all times,
and will be analyzed for total lead and total copper by EPA 6010/7000 Series analyses.
5.0 REPORT PREPARATION
A report will be prepared documenting on-site activities (monitoring well installa-
tion, soil sampling, well development, gauging, and sampling) and laboratory analysis
results. Copies of the well logs, Chain-of-Custody manifests, and laboratory reports will
be included.
GROUNDWATER
TECHNOLOGY,INC.
