As specified in the
agreement, groundwater samples were taken quarterly for two years from
three monitoring wells designated as MW-1, MW-3, and MW-4. A travel
blank designated MW-12 and a blind duplicate sample designated MW-13
were also submitted quarterly for analysis. All of the samples were
analyzed at a Department of Health Services-certified laboratory for the
following parameters: Conductivity, pH, Total Dissolved Solids, Total
Copper, Total Nickel , Total Lead and Hexavalent Chromium. The three
sampled wells were also sounded to determine groundwater elevation.
The groundwater samples for the ninth and final quarter were collected
on June 1, 1990 and taken to California Analytical Laboratories in West
Sacramento. Appropriate chain of custody was maintained. A summary of
the results is presented in Table 1, and a copy of the laboratory report
is attached.
A summary of the analytical results for the groundwater samples
collected from the three monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-3 and MW-4) during
the entire groundwater monitoring program are shown in Table 2. The
analytical results (conductivity, pH, copper, lead, hexavalent chromium
and nickel ) remained relatively consistent throughout the monitoring
program.
Consulting Engineers,Geologists Q
and Environmental Scientists
Offices in Other Principal Cities _
