Taubeneck <br /> Waste Management Engineer <br /> The purpose of this memo is to (1) summarize past cost incurred <br /> by the Department (2) outline the Department's estimated annual <br /> future cost for oversight at LIKA-Field Ave. , and (3) reconcile <br /> billing under the Remedial Action Order (RAO) and the 1984 <br /> District Attorney's Order. <br /> (1) PAST COST <br /> The past cost incurred by the Department, as documented by the <br /> Fiscal and Management Services Unit, for project oversight at <br /> LIKA-Field Avenue are as follows: <br /> FY 84/85 $ 0. 00 <br /> FY 85/86 $ 3 , 580. 24 <br /> FY 86/87 $ 12 , 707 . 30 <br /> Total Bond Interest $ 847 .40 <br /> SUBTOTAL $ 17, 134. 93 <br /> 10% ADMINISTRATIVE COST $ 1.458 . 15 <br /> TOTAL AS OF END OF MAY, 1987 $ 18,593.08 <br /> (2) FUTURE COST <br /> For ease of accounting, future cost will begin as of July 1, <br /> 1987 , regardless of the actual effective date of any cost <br /> recovery stipulation. The following section documents the <br /> various assumptions that were used in estimating the future cost <br /> for Department oversight at LIKA-Field Ave. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Billing Rates for all staff were based upon figures generated <br /> by the Fiscal and Management Services Unit.
