U <br /> Interested Parties -2- August 30,2005 <br /> Failure to comply with the ESI requirements may result in enforcement action. Pursuant to <br /> Section 25299(b)(5)of the Health and Safety Code(H&SC), any owner of an underground <br /> storage tank system shall be liable for a civil penalty of not less than five hundred dollars($500) <br /> or more than five thousand dollars ($5,000)per day for each underground storage tank, for each <br /> day of violation, for violation of any applicable requirement of Chapter 6.7 of the H&SC or any <br /> regulation adopted by the State Water Board pursuant to H&SC,Section 25299.3.1 In addition, <br /> failure to comply with the ESI requirements may jeopardize your Cleanup Fund reimbursement <br /> eligibility.
