Filbert St, in the City of Stockton
(APN 157-020-01) on the northeast corner of Filbert Street and Myrtle Street has
been reviewed by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). The
Corrective Action Plan is a proposal for mitigation (soil vapor extraction and air &
ozone sparging) of hazardous substances that has contaminated the site due to an
unauthorized release associated with the UST that were located on the property.
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department-Local Oversight Program, has
made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with Local, State and
Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not create significant adverse
environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the
contamination.
The Corrective Action Plan is available for public review at EHD, 304 E. Weber Street,
Third Floor, Stockton, California, during normal working hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m). If a
written request by any member of the public is not received at EHD by 5:00 p.m.
Monday, February 17, 2003 the tentative decision shall become final on that date
and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to "San Joaquin County EHD
(LOP)", 304 E. Weber Ave., Third Floor, Stockton 95202. Questions regarding the
specific site concerns or procedures should be directed to Michael Infurna, Senior
Registered Environmental Health Specialist, at (209) 468-3454 during normal
working hours.
Dated: February 10, 2003
By: Donna Heran, Director
Environmental Health Department
OPI
Site posted. 3 ILE
