kq KL EI NF EL DER
5.2. ANALYTICAL METHODS AND REPORTED RANGES
Each of the 12 groundwater samples were submitted for analysis. The following is a list of the
requested analyses and the reported ranges for groundwater samples obtained from the 12
monitoring wells; NP-1-70', NP-1-80', NP-1-90', MW-DIS-1, MW-DIS-2, MW-DIS-9, MW-
DIS-11s, MW-DIS-11d, MW-DIS-12, MW-DIS-13,MW-DIS-14, and MW-DIS-14d:
i
• Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline [non-detect to 170,000 ug/11
• Benzene [non-detect to 25,000 ug/1]
0 Toluene [non-detect to 44,000 ug/1]
• Ethylbenzene [non-detect to 5,100 ug/1]
• Xylene [non-detect to 26,00 ug/I]
• 1,2 DCA [non-detect to 1,500 ug/1]
* EDB [non-detect to 1,100 ug/1]
• TBA [all non-detect]
• MTBE [non-detect to 9.9 ug/11
• DIPE [all non-detect]
ETBE [all non-detect]
• TAME [all non-detect]
For a summary of analytical data for the analytes listed above, please see Table 2 beneath the
"Tables"tab of this report.
The detected TPH-g was found in five of the groundwater sample collected (MW-DIS-1, MW-
DIS-2, NP-1-70`, -80', and -90') with concentrations ranging from 100 ug/l to 170,000 ug/l.
TPH-g was not detected in the other seven groundwater samples analyzed at or above the
laboratory detection limit (<0.5ug/1).
Benzene was also detected in Eve of the groundwater samples (MW-DIS-1, MW-DIS-11s, NP-1-
70`, -80', and'-90') with concentrations ranging from 0.50 ug/I to 25,000 ug/l. The remaining
seven groundwater samples showed non-detect concentrations of benzene at or above the
laboratory reporting limit (ND <0.5 ug/1).
Toluene was detected in four of the twelve groundwater samples collected (MW-DIS-1, NP-1-
70`, -80', and -90'). The detected concentrations ranged from 1,000 ug/1 (MW-DIS-1) to 44,000
ug/l (NP-1-80').
Ethylbenzene and xylene were detected in five groundwater samples collected from the
monitoring wells collected (MW-DIS-1, MW-DIS-2,NP-1-70`, -80', and -90'). The detected
concentrations of ethylbenzene ranged from 1.8 ug/1 (MW-DIS-2) to 5,100 ug/1 (NP-1-80'). The
detected concentrations of xylene ranged from 1.6 ug/1(MW-DIS-2) to 26,000 ug/l (NP-!-80').
i
12280.MON 1 ST02R519 Page 9 of 14
©2002,Kleinfelder,Inc September 19,2002
