f kq KLEINFELDER
1 5 MONITORING RESULTS
The depth to groundwater was measured in each monitoring well included in this event. The
depth to groundwater data was converted to elevation in reference to mean sea level for the
calculation of groundwater flow direction and gradient.
The 6 groundwater samples were submitted under chain-of-custody procedures to BSK
{ Analytical Laboratories of Fresno, California. Table 2 is a summary of the analytical results for
groundwater. For a complete report of the analytical results please refer to the chain-of-custody
forms and laboratory analytical reports included in Appendix C.
5.1. WATER LEVELS
f
On May 13, 2002, the 6 monitoring wells were sampled and sounded for depth to groundwater.
The depth to groundwater ranged from 41.10 feet below the top of well casing (T.O.C.) to 50.27
feet below T.O.C.
The groundwater elevations ranged from —29.93 feet msl to —30.74 feet msl at the site. The
groundwater gradient was calculated to be relatively flat at 0.0004 feet/foot, and a general
direction of flow to the southeast. Plate 3 shows the interpreted groundwater contours. The
j reported groundwater flow direction has been consistent with the historical data collected at the
site. Please refer to Table 1 for the recorded groundwater elevations on May 13, 2002, and past
( monitoring events.
P
I
1
12280.MON/ST02R134 Page 8 of 14
,I ©2002,Kleinfelder,Inc July 26,2002
1
I
