k' ! KL ElNFELDER
i
i
2 only. The remaining seven detected concentrations of benzene exceed the MCL for benzene in
f groundwater.
i Toluene was detected in seven of the seventeen groundwater samples analyzed ranging from 0.64
ug/l (MW-DIS-2) to 50,000 ug/l (NP-1-80'). The remaining ten groundwater samples showed
non-detect concentrations of toluene above the laboratory reporting limit (ND < 0.3 ug/1). The
PMCL for toluene is 150 ug/l. The detected concentrations of toluene are below the PMCL for
toluene in water in monitoring well MW-DIS-2 and SVE-north. The remaining five detected
concentrations of toluene exceed the MCL for toluene in groundwater.
Ethylbenzene was detected in seven of the seventeen groundwater samples analyzed ranging
from 5.4 ug/1 (MW-DIS-2) to 4,000 ug/l (NP-1-70'). The remaining ten groundwater samples
showed non-detect concentrations of ethylbenzene above the laboratory reporting limit (ND < 0.3
ug/1). The PMCL for ethylbenzene is 700 ug/l. The detected concentrations of ethylbenzene are
below the PMCL for ethylbenzene in water in monitoring well MW-DIS-2 and SVE-north. The
remaining five detected concentrations of ethylbenzene exceed the MCL for ethylbenzene in
groundwater.
a Xylene was detected in seven of the seventeen groundwater samples analyzed ranging from 14
ug/l (MW-DIS-2) to 25,000 ug/l (NP-1-70'). The remaining nine groundwater samples showed
non-detect concentrations of xylene above the laboratory reporting limit (ND < 0.3 ug/1). The
PMCL for xylene is 1,750 ug/l. The detected concentration of xylene is below the PMCL for
xylene in water in monitoring well MW-DIS-2 and SVE-north. The remaining five detected
concentrations of xylene exceed the MCL for xylene in groundwater.
1,2-DCA was detected in seven of the seventeen groundwater samples analyzed ranging from 8.2
ug/l (MW-DIS-14s) to 1,900 ug/l (NP-1-80'). The remaining ten groundwater samples showed
non-detect concebtrations of 1,2-DCA above the laboratory reporting limit (ND < 5.0 ug/1). The
PMCL for 1,2-DCA is 5 ug/1. The detected concentrations of 1,2-DCA exceed the PMCL for
1,2-DCA in groundwater in each of the seven monitoring wells where 1,2-DCA was detected.
EDB was detected in four of the seventeen groundwater samples analyzed ranging from 42 ug/l
(NP-1-90') to 1,000 ug/l (NP-1-80'). The remaining thirteen groundwater samples showed non-
detect concentrations of EDB above the laboratory reporting limit (ND < 5.0 ug/1). The PMCL
for EDB is 0.05 ug/l. The detected concentrations of EDB are above the PMCL for EDB in
water in each of the monitoring well where detected concentrations of EDB were found.
Ten groundwater samples (MW-DIS-1, MW-DIS-2, MW-DIS-4, MW-DIS-7s, MW-DIS-7d,
SVE-North, SVE-South, and NP-1-70', NP-1-80'and NP-1-90') were analyzed for the four
oxygenates MTBE, DIPE, ETRE, and TAME. The oxygenates MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, or TAME
were not detected in any of the groundwater samples submitted for laboratory analysis.
All seventeen groundwater samples were analyzed for TBA. TBA was not detected in any of the
f groundwater samples submitted for laboratory analysis.
I
l 2280,MON/2002R394
®2002,Kleinfelder,Inc May 10,2002
