Automatically shut down the engine and alert the auto-dialer (supplied
with vapor extraction system) if oil pressure is low, fuel supply is
low, or coolant temperature is high.
3. Engine system shall operate continuously for up to 2 weeks without
maintenance or delivery of supplemental fuel. During continuous
operation, the engine exhaust temperature shall be consistently high
enough for 99.9 percent THP destruction with:a vapor concentration
of between 500 and 10,000 ppmv TPH at the well head.
4. The engine power output rating shall not exceed 50 horse when
l
operating ower
p n
ating at the design peak air flow of 100 scfm.
2.4 DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
A. Control panel shall have the following gauges:
1. extracted vapor flow rate and vacuum
2. coolant temperature
3. oil pressure
4. rpm
5. hours of operation
6. alternator voltage
7. exhaust temperature
8. master shutdown/ignition switch with a key
B. The influent and effluent pipes shall have 2-inch flanges. Engine exhaust
shall be discharged out the top of a 15-foot-tall stackequipped with a
flapper to prevent intrusion of rain.
