No thick or, extensive low-permeability . layers were encountered during this <br /> V investigation. The shallow groundwater beneath the Disco location is believed to be <br /> hydrologically connected with the local water supply aquifer in which California Water <br /> (. Service wells are screened. <br /> As noted previously, Del Monte wells appeared to control local flow during the <br /> investigation period. The nearest downgradient water production well appears to be <br /> Del Monte W-1 (approximately 775 northwest of the former Disco tanks). The nearest <br /> offsite production well is California Water Services Station 9 (located approximately <br /> 0.5 miles northwest of the. former Disco tanks).
