The nightclub will feature live entertainment, including nude dancing, and will only <br /> be open to customers 18 years of age and older. Non-alcoholic beverages will be served on the <br /> premises, with vending machines inside the building to provide food and cigarettes. The facility will <br /> employ approximately six people, including security personnel, drink servers, and a disc jockey. The <br /> nightclub will contract with six to ten dancers per five-hour shift, who will pay a rental fee to the nightclub <br /> for each shift worked. The nightclub is proposed to operate sevens days per week and be open from <br /> 4:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. The applicants anticipate approximately 100 to 200 customers each day. The <br /> application states that licensed security personnel will be employed to provide security inside the building <br /> and in the parking lot. In addition, a metal detector will be installed at the nightclub's entrance. <br /> The facility will utilize existing public services and use the existing parking lot on the west side of the <br /> building, including the two driveways on Waterloo Road. The facility will be composed of a 3,800-square- <br /> foot assembly area designed to accommodate between 150 and 180 customers, an office and foyer on <br /> the west end of the building at the main entrance to the nightclub, storage areas, a beverage service area, <br /> and an area for vending machines. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Denial. <br />
